The important characteristics of agricultural netting

Netting provides effective protection against bird damage.
The mesh size is selected on the basis of the most frequently occurring bird species.
The green netting is made of UV-stabilised, weather-, tear- and rotting resistant polyethylene (PE).
Many of the agricultural nets are very light, so that an ingrowth of the plant shoots is prevented.
High quality netting can be easily laid, collected in and also used repeatedly.
Netting permeable for sprayed pesticides is also available.
Small mesh protective netting can also be used for shade, in order to have more moderate light conditions.
Netting is suitable for medium to heavy populations of birds.
